The short version, before the long one.
Verso is free because we sell an aggregated measure of which model people prefer. We do not sell your conversations. This page says exactly what that means.
What Verso collects
- The prompts you choose to compare, and the answers each model returned. TODO: exact scope, when the panel is open vs. closed.
- Which answer you kept. The preference signal itself.
- An anonymous identifier, generated on your device, so we can tell one session from another.
What Verso never collects
- Your name, your email address, an account. There isn't one.
- Conversations you did not send to Verso.
- TODO: state the browsing-history position explicitly. Users will look for it.
What leaves Verso
Aggregated preference signal and derived measurements. TODO: describe the anonymisation and aggregation step concretely enough that a sceptical reader believes it. Name the safeguards, not the intention.
Withdrawing consent
TODO: one link, one click, and say what happens to data already collected.
